ME: OK, so that's dead-on. I do see life as a trial to overcome.
ME: You're a winner or a loser.
ME: If it's a game, there are no teams.
ME: Those foolish enough to join a team lose something in the end.
HE: I like your writing, and your wit but you stretch your analogies too far.

ME: Now, I'm not claiming that my feelings on any of this are right. If I had to debate the whole "life is a banquet," "live for the moment" arguement, I'd likely lose. But whether it makes sense or not, whether it's logical or not, it's how i feel. It's my perspective, and it's ingrained.
